I’m titling this post May 2026 but at this point it’s practically June, which is, scary. It’s been a busy month of getting a draft of Zero Trust ready for the editor, which was sent out last week. Bit scary. I feel good about it but there’s sooooo much more work to do, especially in the research department. Felt like I could’ve gotten it a bit tighter before sending but I think that’s an unavoidable feeling. Overall, I’m very excited about the story, the characters, and what it’ll build upon and lead to next. Big stuff.

In the meantime, while I patiently wait for feedback, I’m shifting gears working on a big fun project to go along with the book. A companion piece, one might say. I’m excited about the idea, and I’m hoping I can pull it off, but it’s a lot of work on top of everything else. So we’ll see. It’ll remain a mystery and will be a once you know, you’ll know, type reveal.

AND research! Watching, reading everything I possibly can to add to Zero Trust and make it believable in the cybersecurity, hacker, surveillance, world. Definitely going down some rabbit holes but it’s fun, finding new ideas to add to a scene.

I’ve also started pulling ideas together for the next big story for LiLo and company, that’ll take place after Zero Trust. I’m also toying with some shorter, novella, length stories that’ll dive into specific characters and world building. Of course, another LiLo story is in there, potentially a prequel story. But I also have an idea for FBI Agent Blackwell, which I think will be fun to explore on his own.

I have a radio interview coming up! 97.7 WOW Radio CT has invited me on to chat about HOST at 11:30 AM on Friday June 5th. My first radio interview so I’m pretty excited.

I’ve been reading a book called King of Ashes by S.A. Cosby. What a great read! I’m glued to the pages of this book. The writing is fantastic, the pacing keeps you wanting more (the short chapters help too), and the characters are full of depth and interest. It was suggested to me by my editor for character development purposes. This book, characters think they’re doing the right thing and it only makes things worse. Love it.

I’m a fairly big hockey fan. Even with my team (Go B’s!) out of it very early (and kind of expected), I still watch as much as I can. Was pulling for the Av’s but woof, they got dismantled by the Golden Knights, who I think will take it all.
